| Oh i loved this book! I read it in one day, non-stop! It is absolutely one of my favorites. Even though the story line has been done i still love the way Ms. Wick portrays the characters and events. I love her writings they are wonderful! It is one of those book that you finish and feel satisfied. It is wonderful you must read it if you enjoy soft romance novels. which is exactly what happens in "As Time Goes By".
You start the book five years in the past where Bobbie Bradford is cruelly treated and horribly humiliated. The next day she goes for a visit with her aunt, a visit that lasts five years.
Jeff Taylor is worried that history will repeat itself when he finds himself working alongside Bobbie, but Bobbie has come back to town with a new faith in Christ.
While Bobbie has never been considered beautiful, Jeff is finding himself more and more drawn to her every day. He learns that she is considering marrying a man for fear it will be her only offer and he starts to worry, for more than one reason.
Their friendship slowly turns into love, but neither Jeff nor Bobbie seem to realize it until it's too late.

Another Excellent book by Lori Wick. This entire series was a joy to read, and As Time Goes By is not an exception.

| A very sweet romance that will melt even the hardest hearts. I enjoyed this book greatly and have read it several, several times. It is a refreshing book not only because of its great christian underlying theme, but also because the heroine is not radiantly gorgeous but just a regular girl with a heart of gold!
