Spiritually uplifting. Sophisticated sound. I highly recommend this recording, as well as their "So Natural" CD.
The Best ý-(ý`v'ý)-ý love it!!!! Mar 7, 2006
I loved their first CD and was pleasantly surprised that this one is just as great, if not better!!!! I played it for weeks straight and I keep going back to it. Plus, I'm checking for the next one!!!!
Outstanding! Oct 24, 2002
What a pleasant surprise this CD was. I actually loved their first CD and I thought it could not get better than that! Well this CD is like a complement to the first. The lyrics are very good and the music excellent. Less latin influence than in their first CD, but still full of rhythm. I know people have very different tastes in music but I do not think you will regret it.
Awesome God-praising music! Sep 9, 2002
Oh man, you have absolutely got to get this CD. I got it just for the track "Can't Keep It In" and was astounded by how awesome all the other songs are. In my opinion, it's much better than Salvador's first album. The lyrics are more in-depth this time around, and they really make you think. Some tunes that stand out to me are "City on a Hill,""Can't Keep It In,""Mighty King of Love," and "Worthy". And then there's the incredible worship song "Psalm 3," which just makes me lift my hands every time I hear it. "Alegria" has a great upbeat groove that makes you want to jump up and down for God, even if you don't know what they're saying. This is an amazing band with a passion for Christ that shows in their music, and it's one to keep your eye on.
Sophomore Effort is Worth the Wait Jun 19, 2002
If you liked the first release from this Christian/Latin/Pop band, then you won't be disappointed with their new release, Into Motion. Although not quite as Latin in feel as the last album, there's still plenty of the percussion and latin elements that kept everyone's toes tapping. Into Motion actually goes further lyrically with more substantial content. Where the first album was more of a straight forward worship album set to some amazing music, this album leans more toward traditional pop crafted songs with verse/chorus structure. Don't misunderstand, these are not fluffy radio tunes. Salvador is made up of some of the most talented and gifted musicians and songwriters around, regardless of genre. One standout cut to me is "Can't Keep It In" While not the meatiest track lyrically, it is still far superior to most anything on hit radio today. This song should be a hit. The influences are still strong: Santana, EW&F, Chicago, which is fabulous considering most of the members are under 30. If you are into real music, played by real musicians with a real message, check out Salvador. Christians will be blessed. Non-Christians will be impressed.
