| I was not excited about this movie but thought I would give it a try. I LOVED this movie!! I watched it with my four year old daughter and seven year old great niece. All of us were riveted to the movie. In addition to the great story, there was enough action to keep the kids interested and wanting to see what happened next. What I loved was that it dealt with real feelings that kids and adults could relate to about anger, grief, and the need to be loved. I also loved the great lesson about forgiveness and loving those who have come against us. BRAVO to the creators of the film and I hope they make many more like it. | | | | Great Film Apr 6, 2010 |
| I first saw this on TBN and loved it and was happy that I was able to find it on here. It's a a great movie I think. It really teaches forgiveness and to love one another. Like the main character most of us have to learn to forgive and love those who hurt us even though we'd rather beat the snot out of them most of the time. | "My five year old daughter and I watched AT JESUS' SIDE at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival on Sunday October 26th, 2008. Not one child went to the bathroom and not one child left his seat to run up and down the aisles. Best of all you could hear the children asking their parents questions about Jesus throughout the whole movie. It was also very moving watching children and their families sharing tears of grief together during the Crucifixion and sharing tears of joy during the Resurrection. Most of the parents were joyful after the movie because they had shared that kind religious experience with their children. My child and I shared those wonderful feelings together too and the film was very entertaining as well!
