| WOW-this book made me think I was reading about my own life. I too went through some devastating things in my childhood. Some similar to what happened to Mary. While the book was hard to read sometimes it was a true depiction of how God's love can truly set you free if you just accept that he loves you unconditionally. It doesn't matter what you were or thought you were, he is there with arms wide open ready to forgive if you just ask and recieve. | karen kingsbury has always been a favorite of mine. Why she chose this topic I am unsure. As a Christian we already have plenty of negative in the world not to read about it in depth. I kept telling myself that she will prove herself but I felt she did not. With such a deep topic more scripture should have been introduced. We do have a Divine God and she did show some but more could have been shown. I have and will discourage people to read this book. | | | | great reading Jan 11, 2008 |
| I love Karen Kingsbury. I have read several of her books.This is one of my favorite books. I could not put this book down. I believe I read this book in two days. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to read a good book. I hope this was helpful. Read it for yourself. I received this book for Christmas and I couldn't find a place to stop reading. To know that God is a God of mercy to people that are depressed and hurting. This book illustrates that no matter how low you are, there is always a God who is there to listen.
