Well, this bible is more like an interpretation rather than a translation. In some cases the meaning in the text has changed. Example the NVI states "desearas a tu marido y el te dominará (YOU WILL CRAVE FOR YOUR HUSBAND AND HE WILL DOMINATE YOU)". THE WORDING USED IN HEBREW AS USED IN THIS TEXT, AND IN OTHER BIBLE TEXTS, IMPLIES THAT: EVE WILL TRY TO IMPOSE HER DESIRES ON HER HUSBAND, NEVERTHELESS ADAM WILL GOVERN EVE'.
ANOTHER STATEMENT FOUND IN THIS BIBLE: "AND THE CHILDREN OF GOD MARRIED THE DAUGHTERS OF HUMANS" IN CONTRARY TO WHAT THE HEBREW STATES: "THE CHILDREN OF GOD MARRIED THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN" WHICH IMPLIES THAT MEN ARE CHILDREN OF GOD (ADAM CAME FROM GOD) AND WOMEN ARE DAUHTERS OF MEN (EVE WAS TAKEN FROM ADAM WHILE ADAM CAME FROM GOD). | | |  | learning Spanish by the Bible Jan 5, 2007 |
